A Jeopardy! contestant got candid about the trivia show.

The game show tests three contestants with six categories in both the Jeopardy! and Double Jeopardy! rounds. The contestants receive five clues in each category that vary on each episode like history, science, television shows, music and more. The person who wins moves on to the next episode against two different contestants. Not only do they see another day on the Alex Trebek stage but also win more money and a chance to appear on Tournament of Champions or Jeopardy! Masters. Jeopardy! airs on ABC at 7 p.m. EST.

Erin Buker was a contestant on the show and made history when she earned the second-lowest score in Jeopardy! history with -$7,200.

Erin told Fox News Digital that being on the trivia game show was an "out-of-body experience" and was more than she believed it would be. She admitted to having a hard time remembering the clue categories to the point that it got "very blurry."

She said: "The way they tape it is like it's the live show. They really try to keep it really tight. You're reminding yourself to not, you know, make weird faces… don't do anything odd." She added: "I can't explain it. It's all happening at once, and there's just a lot of noise in the head, and it's kind of an out-of-body experience, too."

During her time on the show, Erin tried to tell herself to make it through the Final Jeopardy! round but sadly, she didn't make it that far. She blamed it on the buzzer not being in her favor and her opponents were just too fast.

She said: "There [were] all these opportunities where you think, 'OK, I got this,' but it's like, you don't got this because someone else buzzes in first. I wasn't anticipating how kind of excruciating that part would be because it's like, 'No, no, but I know this one.' But this other person gets to get the points for it in the score and, you know, the score gets higher."

Erin later opened up about the buzzer being her "own worst enemy" on a Reddit thread. She would buzz in midway through the clue but "her thumb had a mind of its own."

She admitted: "There's something uniquely frustrating about knowing answers, but not having the wherewithal to ring in at the appropriate time to answer them — that was my deficit and I own it entirely."
