    Four family members killed as street racer slams into car as they return from Six Flags outing

    Only one family member survived a deadly crash in critical condition after a drag racer slammed into their SUV , killing four on impact.

    A family of five went together to Six Flags in Texas, but only one managed to survive a horrific road incident. Jessie Rosales, his wife Lorena, and their children Anthony, 17, Stephanie,13, and Angel, 6, were returning from Six Flags resort and a meal at Panda Express on Saturday when their family outing ended in disaster.

    As they drove, a red Dodge Charger smashed into their Chevy Traverse SUV, causing the family car to flip twice and erupt into flames.

    Two men have been arrested and charged with multiple felonies for the illegal street race that claimed the lives of most of the Rosales family. Jaime Mesa, 20, was identified as the driver of the red charger, according to WBAP reports. Mesa is also currently in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    Footage of the horrifying incident was shared on social media, showing the family's car in flames, with the Charger close by.

    Three family members died on impact and a fourth died later at the hospital. Currently, only 17-year-old Anthony is left, fighting severe wounds in the hospital, according to the family's GoFundMe ..

    "His brother Jessie and sister Natalie have stepped up to get him through this physical battle in addition to all the other battles they will face," the page description read. "This sweet sibling group has a long hard road ahead of them physically, emotionally and financially."

    The description adds that the funds raised will be used to cover Anthony's medical bills and funeral expenses for the deceased family members.

    Mesa now faces four counts of manslaughter, four counts of racing on a highway causing death, one count of racing on a highway causing serious bodily injury, and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

    According to investigators, the driver of the second vehicle involved in the race, a white Dodge Charger Daytona, fled the scene after the crash. He was later identified as 22-year-old Antony Morales.

    Morales faces charges of racing on a highway causing death and one count of racing on a highway causing serious bodily injury.
