Will Levis shares exciting prediction before first full season as Titans' starting QB

Will Levis will be the Tennessee Titans ' starting quarterback for his first full season after the team brought in several big additions - giving him the confidence to show his capabilities in 2024.

After dramatically falling in to the second round in the 2023 NFL Draft , Levis was named the third-choice quarterback behind Ryan Tannehill and Malik Willis in his rookie season. But after both struggled, Levis was finally given his chance in Week 8 and would never look back, impressing in the role despite the team struggling around him.

With one of the weaker offensive lines in the NFL, the Titans struggled to protect their quarterback while also having a lack of options at receiver for him to target. But throughout the offseason, they addressed their issues at both positions, spending the seventh overall pick on a new left tackle, while bringing in a starting center and signing star wide receiver Calvin Ridley to a long-term deal.

The Titans have not said it publicly, but it's clear to say that they are looking to build their offense around Levis at quarterback - something that has given him a huge boost as he aims to prove the league wrong for seeing him fall so far in the draft.

He told reporters: "It gives me a sense of confidence that they trust me, for them to invest the money in specifically my side of the ball, it’s cool to see the weapons and the capability that we have as an offense, and we’ve been able to show throughout training camp that they’ve made the right decisions in that way.

"Continuing to prove every day how we are going to be able to use these new additions and what our identity for the offense is going to be going forward, it’s cool to see. It just makes me want to work harder for everyone in the front office knowing that they believe in me with the decisions that they’re making with the roster.”

Levis played in just a limited role in the Titans' first preseason game, leading an impressive drive before scoring on a rushing touchdown himself before leaving the field and allowing back-ups Mason Rudolph and Willis to compete for the job behind him.

The Titans have not only focussed on their offensive unit throughout the draft and free agency, but within their coaching ranks too, bringing in former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan as their new head coach, replacing Mike Vrabel.

Seen as an exciting playmaker within the coaching ranks, Levis is set to be in a much better situation heading into this first year as a starter, with the team also adding wide receiver Tyler Boyd and running back Tony Pollard to go with Ridley and number one receiver DeAndre Hopkins .
