In a clip that's making rounds again due to recent controversies surrounding Mr Beast , he faced a very public spat with fellow YouTuber Jacksepticeye, whose real name is Sean McLoughlin. The surfaced footage dates back to a September 2023 session on Tommyinnits channel, where Jacksepticeye undergoes an offensive lie detector test. When probed with "Do you like Mr Beast? " he responded honestly with his disapproval, saying, "No."
Further pressed with "Do you think Mr Beast ruined the internet? " he answered with a vehement "Yes" which the lie detector confirmed as true.

Jacksepticeye elaborated on these sentiments, stating: "Because it became more about views, money and popularity than it did about having fun. If he had fun doing those videos, they'd be longer. We'd see the fun."
After fans pointed out a controversial video to Mr Beast, the YouTube philanthropist expressed his displeasure toward Jacksepticeye with a message posted on X: "Sooo, I 'ruined YouTube' because I didn't buy a mansion and sports cars and instead reinvested my $ into making content/focused on doing good and inspiring kids to help people? ".
"'If he had fun the videos would be longer' what does that even mean lol. You think I'd give up every hour of my life for 14 years if I didn't have fun? This clip is insanely disrespectful imo and obviously there is so much I could say about his content but I'll just take the punches and be the bigger man. Sigh."
However, MrBeast removed his response shortly after, though it was already circulating online and had sparked a larger debate among their respective fan bases.
The situation seemed to de-escalate when MrBeast shared an update on X stating: "We messaged, we're Gucci now", accompanied by a smiley face emoji, to which Jacksepticeye responded with a cowboy and thumbs up emojis.
