The Ketamine Queen and doctors were charged for covering up their involvement in Matthew Perry 's death.

The Friends actor's assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, who tried to perform CPR on him after discovering him unconscious in the hob tub at his Los Angeles home, has been sensationally charged in a new development. United States Attorney Martin Estrada held a press conference on Thursday, August 15 after making five individual arrests of those in connection to Matthew death.

Others involved were two medical doctors including Salvador Plasencia, Eric Flemming, and Jasveen Sangha who is known as "The Ketamine Queen."

Martin revealed that the doctors supplied the ketamine and even exchanged text messages wondering, "how much this moron [Perry] would pay. The defendants also exchanged messages trying to cover up their involvement and evidence behind their actions.

Jasveen wrote to Eric a text that read: "Delete all our messages." Salvador then wrote fake medical records and notes to make everything he did look "legitimate."

The Ketamine Queen has been linked to other deaths in the past. In August 2019, she sold ketamine to victim Cody McLaury, hours before his overdose death. A family member of Cody's family messaged Jasveen and told her that her ketamine killed him. She then Googlr searched, "can ketamine be listed as a cause of death[?]" and proceeded to sell the ketamine from her home, according to a press release by the United States Attorney's Office: Central District of California.

During the press conference, he said: "These defendants took advantage of Mr. Perry's addiction issues to enrich themselves. They knew what they were doing was wrong."

Matthew died in October due to a ketamine overdose. He received several injections of the drug on the day he died that his live-in personal assistant, Kenneth, gave. Two of the defendants, including the assistant, pleaded guilty to charges already. A third person agreed to also plead guilty.

According to the press release, Salvador distributed the ketamine to Matthew and Kenneth outside of his professional practice hours in "at least seven occasions" in October 2023, Salvador taught Kenneth how to inject Matthew with the drug. One time, Salvador injected ketamine to Matthew without the proper safety equipment inside a car parked in a Long Beach parking lot and did not properly monitor the actor.
