Love Island USA star Daniela Ortiz-Rivera took to TikTok to beg for online trolls to be mindful of what they said about fellow cast members for the sake of their mental health.
Season 6 of the reality dating competition might be over, but the drama surrounding this year’s show has yet to end. It’s rumored that there is beef between multiple islanders, with the theory coming to fruition after some have unfollowed each other on Instagram, and speculated that some couples have even called it quits. Kaylor Martin and Aaron Evans, alongside Kendall Washington and Nicole Jacky are the couples rumored to be dunzo.
To top it all off, a few contestants have been facing constant criticism online, leading Daniela to use her platform to try and silence the internet hate toward fellow islanders.

Shortly after filming for the Love Island USA reunion, which is set to air later this month. Daniela uploaded an emotional video on TikTok to spread suicide prevention awareness.
“I just want to talk about something real quick. Please watch,” she said in the beginning of the video. “Please just listen to me. I look crazy, I’m crying. But I just really want to talk about suicide prevention and awareness, and I just think it’s really important. I’ve personally lost family members, people who’ve meant a lot to me.
She explained, “Everything that’s been happening, during all this, and all the hate that people are getting breaks my heart so much because at the end of the day, these people aren’t characters, they’re real people with real feelings.
Daniela admitted that it “broke her heart” to hear what her castmates were experiencing.
“Hearing people express to me, multiple people, that they’re going through this, it breaks my heart. Please be more kind to these people. Everyone is going through so much. Everyone is learning from their mistakes every day,” she shared.
Daniela claimed near the end of the video that past Love Island contestants told her they hadn’t gotten the same amount of online attention or hate as Season 6 has.
“None of those people have even gotten a quarter of the hate that these people are getting now,” she remarked. “I can’t go without saying anything because that’s not okay either. People need to understand how serious of a situation this is.”
She also mentioned: The way I saw people going through it today is insane. The way I see people keep going through it is insane,” she remarked. “There’s no reason for you to hate them. You don’t know these people. Please be nice.” Daniela's cast members hasn't addressed her video as of yet.
