Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen engaging with children at a school during the start of their tour in Colombia , but the royal was stopped in his tracks when his wife brazenly "shooshed" him as he was attempting to speak .

The duo, who stepped down as working royals in 2020, had breakfast with Vice President Francia Marquez and her spouse, Rafael Yerney Pinillo, in Bogota's capital on Thursday morning. Meghan looked stylish in a Orlinda vest by designer Veronica Beard, while Harry chose a tailored navy suit paired with a casual shirt .

They visited Colegio Cultura Popular school in the city, where they were given a guided tour and an informational session by the school's head, Leonel Umana Parra, and student Jose David. During their deep conversation, a lip reader spotted a tense moment between them when Meghan seemed 'strained' as she interrupted.

Professional lip reader Nicola Hickling noted that Harry was about to say something when Meghan cut him off and spoke first to the boy. As shown in the video, Harry quickly shuts his mouth and turns to his wife, who then takes the lead, before signaling with a nod.

"Harry is about to say something ("look") when Meghan interrupts him and speaks to the boy," she said. "Meghan's eyes are closed and she clasps her hands together, it's almost like she is straining to speak at first."

A lip-reader has revealed that during a recent engagement, Meghan Markle asked a young award recipient: "So, so you won an award in products, is that right? " Meanwhile, Prince Harry inquired about the boy's commitment to his project, asking: "How serious were you when you took on this offer? ".

While visiting a school, Prince Harry charmed everyone by attempting to count in Spanish and opened up about his kids, Archie, aged five, and three year old Lilibet, saying, "I have young children and they're not on social media," as reported by Ms Hickling.

As the couple exited the vice president's office, Meghan was heard giving a subtle command to Harry. According to Ms Hickling, Meghan whispered, "hand", to which Harry promptly responded, "Here you go."

Body language expert Judi James analyzed Meghan's demeanor during their trip, suggesting her confidence might be why she often leads conversations. Speaking to the Mirror, James observed: "She looks totally in her element, almost as though this is a moment she has been waiting for all her life. Her shoulders are splayed and her elbows tucked into her torso as she carries her large designer bag in one hand and allows her royal husband to tow her along with the other."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's visit to Colombia, at the invitation of Vice President Francia Marquez, is packed with engagements, including meetings with leaders and discussions on cyberbullying, an issue their Archewell Foundation aims to address by advocating for safer digital spaces.

Harry and Meghan's visit to Colombia marks their first joint trip to the country, where they will also tour the cities of Cartagena and Cali. Colombia was the first South American nation to participate in Harry's sports event for wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans, competing at the Dusseldorf Invictus Games in September 2023.

Marquez stated: "The conference will present a global framework for creating safer physical and virtual spaces, addressing issues such as cyberbullying, online exploitation and the impact of these threats on mental health. It will offer practical solutions and commitments for countries around the world. During their visit, the Duke and Duchess, as well as the Archewell Foundation, will take part in a number of activities related to this important topic."
