Blake Lively's shocking transphobic children comment resurfaces amid It Ends With Us conflict

Blake Lively made a concerning comment about the future of her children several years ago that has fans shook as they remember the moment amid ongoing drama over her most recent movie .

In 2012, she spoke with Elle about her plans for the future, teasing her desire to be a mother. However, she dropped a controversial LGBTQIA+ term which doesn't sit well with fans today. She said: "I hope to have a few girls one day. If not girls, they better be tr----es. Because I have some amazing shoes and bags and stories that need to be appreciated."

While it appears that her intent was moreso to be supportive of the community, the term "tr---y" or "tr----e" is often considered a slur when referring to transgender individuals. At the very least, it's considered derogatory and offensive.

This wasn't the only time that Blake dropped the word casually. In fact, she previously discussed her own identity and how she feels about her body, but made a striking comparison while doing so.

According to New York Magazine , Blake told Allure in 2009: “I feel like a t----- a lot of the time. I don’t know, I’m … large? They put me in six-inch heels, and I tower over every man. I’ve got this long hair and lots of clothes and makeup on … I just feel really big a lot of the time, and I’m surrounded by a lot of tiny people. I feel like a man sometimes.”

The term is totally controversial with the LGBTQIA+ divided on when or how it can be used. RuPaul, famed for his drag queen expertise, received a lot of backlash for throwing the world around since he isn't trans.

In fact, he ran to the defense of Lance Bass who was previously scolded for using the term, despite being gay. RuPaul told the Huffington Post : "It's ridiculous! It's ridiculous!... I love the word 'tr---y'...And I hate the fact that he's apologized. I wish he would have said, 'F-you, you tr---y jerk!'"

Blake's resurfaced words come as she's facing a myriad of additional backlash over rumored drama on the set of It Ends With Us. The movie, adapted from a Colleen Hoover book, has been slammed for romanticizing domestic violence.

The internet appears to have turned against the once-beloved actress as old clips from interviews keep resurfacing.
