Ben Affleck looks glum as he is seen without wedding ring for first time since JLo filed for divorce

Ben Affleck was pictured without his wedding ring hours after Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce on their second wedding anniversary .

Ben, 52, was seen leaving his office in Los Angeles, California, shortly after it was reported that JLo filed for divorce . The Boston native was dressed casually, wearing loose-fitting jeans, and a baggy T-shirt, which he paired with sneakers and sunglasses.

Ben wasn’t smiling at all and appeared sad. The Oscar-winning actor wasn’t wearing his wedding ring, which isn’t shocking since he was wearing it on and off before he and the singer divorced.

According to TMZ , J. Lo filed pro per, meaning by herself and without an attorney. Jennifer and Ben have been separated since April 26. Jennifer filed for divorce on August 20, two years to the day since their second wedding ceremony in Georgia.

The actors first had a wedding ceremony in July 2022 , which was in Las Vegas, Nevada. Another wedding ceremony took place in Georgia in August which their friends and family attended. Jennifer didn't share in the divorce filing if there was a prenuptial agreement between them, but TMZ insiders said the freshly divorced couple didn't have a prenup.

Bennifer 2.0 imploding doesn’t come as much as a surprise. For the last few months, Jennifer and Ben have been speculated to be enduring marital woes. Rumors between the two heading for divorce lit up when Ben was caught leaving their Beverly Hills home. The two were not spotted for some time until it was time for Violet's high school graduation. The two have always been big on family and putting them first.

Additionally, In July, Jennifer celebrated her 55th birthday alone in the Hamptons along with their first wedding anniversary. Meanwhile, Ben was living his life in California, while Jennifer was enjoying her summer on the East Coast. Divorce rumors intensified when Jennifer and Ben put their Beverly Hills mansion on the market. Ben quickly bought a $20.5million pad between two well-off LA neighborhoods, Brentwood and Pacific Palisades.

Before they rekindle their romance in 2021, which led to them marrying a year after, Jen and Ben had a whirlwind romance in 2002 after doing the film Gigli together. They were engaged in 2002, the same year the started dating, but then they called it quits in 2004.
