Gypsy Rose Blanchard 's dog that she shares with ex Ryan Scott Anderson has been on fans' minds.
The 33-year-old posted a new TikTok on August 25 of her and ex-fiancé and current boyfriend Ken Urker at the dog park with a dog named Parker. Ken is playing with the dog that looks like a husky mix by throwing a ball. Meghan Trainor's I'm A Dog Mom song accompanied the video and the TikTok was captioned: " Fun day at the dog park."
However, this is a different dog than the black and white 8-week-old Malachi puppy she shared with then-husband Ryan Scott Anderson. They named the puppy Pixie.
Fans were confused as to why Pixie didn't join in on this outing. Earlier in the day, there were comments asking "where Pixie" was, but the majority of the comments have since been deleted. However, one comment remains as of this writing which reads: "where is the maltezer [sp]," and Pixie is half maltese and half chihuahua.
In a Gypsy Rose subreddit a month ago, a fan also posed a question about Pixie. The person who made the thread wrote: "Do we know what happened to the dog? Did she leave it at Ryan's or take it to her parents?"
Many fans commented below explaining what happened to Pixie and why she hasn't been seen with Gypsy lately. Some expressed anger at the dog no longer being with Gypsy. One fan wrote: "It’s at Ryan’s. He showed the dog last night on his live." A second fan said: "She said she gave up the dog and didn’t want it anymore. Ryan has it now but she’s accused him of trying to find a home for it instead of taking care of it. Ryan said he’ll be keeping the dog since she abandoned it."
Another exclaimed: "Neither one should have gotten the dog. They both said they didn’t know how to train one, and to my horror, Ryan said you’re supposed to rub the dog’s nose in its pee/poop, which is cruel, outdated, and stupid." A fourth fan said, "I don’t get why everyone is acting like Gypsy happily abandoned the dog, I’m pretty sure they’ve both said a few times now that the puppy stayed with Ryan because she was attached to him the most."
Gypsy did address in April what happened to Pixie to fans. She told fans, "She is with Ryan. I gave her to Ryan. I didn't want to uproot her from everything that she knows, so she loved Ryan more, so I let him keep the puppy."
All of this comes as Gypsy Rose is expecting her first child with Ken. She first announced she was pregnant in early July and announced the sex of the baby in August 10 which is a girl. Since Gypsy Rose's divorce hasn't finalized yet and if the baby is born before it does, Ryan's name will be on the birth certificate because of Louisiana law. The only way to stop that is to take a paternity test to prove Ken is the dad as Gypsy has claimed. According to TMZ, Ryan and Gypsy have agreed to delay the DNA test because it's "easier and cheaper to wait."
