Gypsy Rose Blanchard branded 'delusional' over 'cringeworthy' four-word statement

Gypsy Rose Blanchard's dramatic shift from prison to social media fame has caused a lot of controversy .

The 33-year-old is known for her harrowing experience with Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy and gained notoriety for her involvement in her mother Dee Dee's murder back in June 2015. Her mom had lied about Gypsy Rose suffering from multiple debilitating illnesses, subjecting her to unnecessary medical procedures.

Gypsy Rose conspired with her internet boyfriend to murder her mom and their decision led to an eight-year jail sentence for Gypsy Rose . She was released in December 2023.

Gypsy Rose now garners significant attention on social media and her life story has played out in media interviews, books, and documentaries. On TikTok, where she's amassed a following of more than 10.2million, her bio describes hers as an "Influencer, Author, Public Figure."

Gypsy Rose's description of herself has divided fans. One TikTok user wrote: "Plz tell me why I'm just now seeing what Gypsy's TikTok bio says," adding: "It honestly cringes me out so much."

The video went viral with over 36,000 likes, sparking heated discussions. One user questioned: "Who is she influencing! ?" While another chimed in: "Gypsy is so delulu." A third was shocked: "No cuz "public figure" is wild."

However, some fans rushed to defend Gypsy Rose. One viewer commented: "Do you want it to say "ex murderer" or," and another supported her by saying: "But... she is a public figure and she's got 20m followers, so she's an influencer. I don't understand why that's a problem?"

Another added: "Y'all switched up on her so fast." Gypsy Rose seems to be ignoring the drama, however, as she prepares to welcome her first child with her boyfriend Ken Urker.

The couple recently announced they're expecting a baby girl as they shared a gender reveal video on Instagram. "The moment y’all have been waiting for... It’s a girl! Ken and I are over the moon and are so excited to start our family. We’re so thankful for our friends, neighbors, and families who came to our party today! We also want to thank ya’ll for your love and support!" Gypsy Rose wrote in her caption.
