Kanye West 'avoids' paying $600 restaurant bill in South Korea after 150-minute concert

Kanye West 's recent trip to South Korea was a lavish affair, with the rapper reportedly dining at a high-end beef restaurant in Seoul without footing the bill.

The star, who treated his wife Bianca Censori and his kids to an extravagant trip , initially announced a listening party for fans but ended up delivering a 150-minute performance of around 70 songs, including some of his early hits. This surprise concert drew some K-Pop stars into controversy for their attendance.

After the show, West and his crew visited a restaurant in Gangnam on August 26, where they enjoyed about $600 worth of premium Korean Hanwoo beef. The restaurant owner, a fan of West's music, graciously allowed the group to leave without paying, according to Allkpop.

West's tour also included visits to popular spots in Seoul, such as a toy store in I'Park Mall, Yongsan, and a Starbucks near Hangangjin Station, creating a buzz among fans and locals. The rapper, who shot to fame with his 2004 album The College Dropout, attracted several K-pop stars to his concert, including 2NE1 members CL and Minzy, Lil Boi, Zion. T, Paloalto, Jeon So Mi, and NewJeans members Minji, Hanni, and Danielle.

Just yesterday, fans flocked to Twitter to voice their disapproval when photos of Aespa members Giselle and Winter attending the exclusive Vultures 2 listening party emerged online.

"Noooooo Giselle and Winter went to the Kanye West concert," one fan exclaimed.

"Me acting surprised at the fact that Giselle and Winter are Kanye supporters through and through... as if I didn't see their damn playlists," another fan sarcastically remarked.

Kanye was seen at the airport in South Korea with Bianca and three of his four children he shares with SKIMS founder Kim Kardashian - North West, 11, Chicago West, six, and Psalm West, five. His second eldest, Saint West, eight, wasn't there.

A TikTok user shared photos of the family at the airport. The images captured Kanye on his phone, seemingly distracted as Bianca chatted with staff.
