Jeopardy! fans are hopeful as Season 41 approaches and ushers in a bit of change .

The show, which has been on air since 1964, has curated a passionate and activate fanbase which is accustomed to the unique rules and gameplay. Now, they're crossing their fingers for a bit of change to make the show better than ever. Some fans on Reddit dished about what they're looking forward to in the upcoming season.

One fan started off with a gripe — the slate of contestants became stale. He wrote: "The end to all of the recycled contestants. Not going to name names but I could go the rest of my Jeopardy life never seeing 6-8 people ever again."

As it stands, Jeopardy! runs additional tournaments with their best trivia gurus. While this often teases fan excitement, they're now ready for some new faces. A fan replied: "Same. Put 'em in prime time if they need to do it all again, but gimme a whole season of the syndicated show with new contestants."

A fan speculated that the show will have "probably 2½ to 3 months of tournaments, in a single block, running from mid or late December, or early January, to mid-March." Currently, while in the off-season, reruns of the past Tournament of Champions episodes is filling the Jeopardy! slots, allowing fans to revisit the old questions.

Other fans were a tad worried about the logistics for the new season after it became unavailable on streaming due to Pluto's shutdown. The official Jeopardy! account wrote, "Hang in there, baby." They shared a video which showed comments from fans begging for the show to return to streaming before adding: "We hear you. Stay tuned for the latest Jeopardy! streaming news."

With the season ticking closer, fans are still a bit worried as there hasn't been any clarify since the vague statement from Aug. 15. One wrote: "I hope the streaming announcement teased two weeks ago allows for easy ways to watch the show if you miss it (instead of just a new way to watch much older reruns). Jeopardy is going to fade into obscurity in the future if it doesn't ditch the 'syndicated OTA only' model."
