Top Model's Paulina Lerch has tragically been shot and killed.

Authorities believe that Paulina's husband, Sawomir, fatally shot the reality star and model before turning the gun on himself. He was reportedly found with lethal, self-inflicted gunshot wounds inside their home where he is believed to have murdered Paulina, aged 33.

The couple were found lifeless after Paulina's family had been unable to reach them for over a week. The pair were discovered at their residence in Poznan City, Poland on September 1.

Their home was locked from the inside, but police found a revolver next to their lifeless bodies.

At this time, it's uncertain whether Paulina was tragically killed by her husband or if the couple had a suicide pact. The late model's family reported that they hadn't heard from her for over a week before she was found, reports the Mirror .

Worried about her wellbeing, the family alerted the police.

It's still unclear when the shooting occurred, but local authorities hope an autopsy will provide an estimated date and offer more insight into Paulina and Sawomir's deaths due to the significant decomposition. A comprehensive investigation is now in progress.

Sawomir, 47, was a suspected drug trafficker and was arrested in April May of this year, along with 30 other individuals after police discovered 60kg of drugs hidden in a warehouse.

The fashion world is mourning the loss of the beloved model who graced Poland's Top Model not just once, but twice, in her decade-spanning career. Making a splash in 2010 and reappearing with renewed vigor in 2018 after an impressive weight loss, Paulina faced the challenge of channeling a dolphin on the catwalkan unusual request that resulted in her controversially missing out on further advancement as judges quipped, "This is not Top Orka".

Despite her valiant efforts and transformation, her later attempt also fell short.

Grief has taken over social media platforms where fans and friends express profound shock and sadness, with tributes highlighting her infectious optimism and warmth. Comments reflect disbelief and sorrow: "I don't believe it," adorned with tears and somber hearts.

Another heartfelt message reads, "I'm going to miss you so much, you were so lovely, I can't believe that I won't see or hear from you anymore, rest in peace my angel."

Yet another friend struggles with the reality: "Paula, I don't believe it."

Words continue to flow, reflecting both admiration and grief, conveying deep condolences to her loved ones and remembering her as an extraordinary womanone whose legacy will endure far beyond the runway.
