Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez almost had an awkward encounter.
The former couple were photographed outside separately at their shared Los Angeles office building within 30 mins from each other on Wednesday, September 4. J.Lo was seen entering the building while the actor-director was spotted driving away moments before she arrived.
The Get Right performer was decked out in an all green look that comprised of a blouse with a pink printed design on the back and a maxi skirt with matching chunky sky-high heels. She completed the look with a pink $1,897 Valentino Garavani purse, gold hoops and pink-tinted shades.
Ben was dressed in a grey suit jacket blazer over a light pink dress shirt from the photos of him leaving in his black vehicle. On August 20, J.Lo filed for divorce from her estranged husband without an attorney after months of speculation, which was the couple's two year anniversary of their Georgia wedding. The two have been separated since April 26, according to her filing.
It's reported that the two are ready to move on after their two year marriage. An insider close to the Justice League star told PEOPLE he is “focused on the positives” post split and that he is "slowly moving into his new home" which is where he wants to be as it's close to his children.
Ben is currently renting a $100,000-per-month home in Brentwood, California but recently purchased a lavish Pacific Palisades property for $20.5million in July. He shares three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
For J.Lo, a source told the outlet that "she still very fortunate with" with her life despite feeling "some bitterness" about the separation. They continued saying, "She tried so hard to make things work and it didn't matter to Ben."
On August 31, the mother-of-posted on Instagram a carousel of photos. In the carousel, J.Lo seemed to be sharing somepost-split messages that indicates J.Lo she is not "bothered" and handling it well. One photo had a message that reads, "Everything is unfolding in divine order." Another was a photo of someone wearing a printed shirt that read "she's in bloom and unbothered/ out of reach and at peace."
The pair reconnected nearly 20 years later in 2021, and got engaged in April 2022. They eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022 and married in a Georgia ceremony the next month. J.Lo and Ben previously dated in 2002 and broke up in 2004 after being engaged.
