Taylor Swift made her 2024-25 NFL season debut, and football fans are already annoyed .
The singer was spotted arriving to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri on Thursday, September 5 to support Travis Kelce . Taylor arrived to the stadium wearing a denim top with a low cut , showing some cleavage, and a matching denim shorts. She paired the look with knee high red boots and her hair was styled down with a side bang.
Many football fans around the country were upset when Taylor received a lot of air time last season. It looks like things have not changed after her arrival was not only splattered all over social media but video camera's also showed her on TV.
Taylor was shown sitting next to Travis' father, Ed in a suite. He was supporting the tight end player by wearing Travis' number and paired the look with a New Heights podcast black hat. Taylor was seen "thanking" a fan and then sharing a moment with her boyfriend's father as they were bonding. The two were seen all smiles.
Swifties came to Taylor's defense, as well as some football lovers , over the pop star being shown on air.
One person on X, formerly known as Twitter wrote: "Taylor swift and Kelce’s dad is wholesome, sue me." Another person wrote: "just a reminder to everyone that complains about taylor swift on tv during games :) she’s literally just a girl living her life supporting her bf!! she doesn’t control the fact that the nfl uses her and capitalizes on their relationship and her appearances so!! shut up!! :)."
A third person shared: "can we skip the part where nfl fans whine and complain about taylor swift being shown during chiefs games? she's going to be there. tv networks will show her. either be mature and deal with it or just...don't watch? neither of these are hard."
This comes as Taylor swerved Brittany Mahomes just after the wife of Patrick Mahomes liked a series of Instagram comments in favor of Donald Trump. While Taylor has not stated how she is voting this election, she spoke out against Trump in favor of Joe Biden in 2020.
Last season, Taylor was shown on TV whenever Travis made a touchdown or a play was made that benefited the Chiefs. She has supported Travis by attending many of his games with her friends, family and his family members. She even flew to Las Vegas from Tokyo after performing one of her Eras Tour shows, to support Travis and the Chiefs during the Super Bowl.
