Taylor Swift conducts 'post-game interview' with Chiefs star's partner after Brittany Mahomes snub

Taylor Swift conducted an amusing 'post-game interview' with Chariah Gordon as they rejoiced following the Kansas City Chiefs' victory in Week 1 - while Brittany Mahomes was nowhere to be seen.

The chart-topper carried on her tradition of cheering on boyfriend Travis Kelce from the stands at Arrowhead Stadium as she was witness to a dramatic win for the Chiefs over the Baltimore Ravens . The home team prevailed 27-20 in controversial circumstances as a last gasp touchdown was ruled out via a review.

The "Cruel Summer" hitmaker was animated throughout the encounter as she took her seat next to Kelce's dad, Ed, while wearing a new bracelet bearing her name - given to her by her beau. The relief was written all over the face of Swift as she celebrated the win after what had been a tense clash on the field too.

Basking in the victory in the VIP suite afterwards she jumped up and down alongside Gordon, the partner of Chiefs star Mecole Hardman Jr. The pair appeared to be close as they enjoyed a light-hearted interaction in front of camera in a post on social media while discussing the game.

Conducted an impromptu mock-interview, they reflected on a successful start to the season for the Chiefs as Swift asked: "How are you feeling after the victory," to which Chariah replied: "I'm feeling good after this victory, how are you?" before the pop superstar replied: "I’m feeling fantastic."

The wife of KC quarterback Mahomes did not appear to be present with Swift during the game, though, despite posting pictures on her Instagram showing her at the stadium. Brittany has experienced major backlash in recent times after liking an Instagram post from former U.S. President Donald Trump.

In a statement on the fallout, the former soccer player commented: "I mean honestly...To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There's no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well."

Meanwhile, the Republican Party nominee for the White House took to social media to say: "Trump "I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country.

"With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless "leaders," it is nice to see someone who loves our Country, and wants to save it from DOOM. What a great couple - See you both at the Super Bowl!"
