Taylor Swift's go-to $15 hack for easing back pain after spending 3 hours on stage

Taylor Swift may be a pro at 'doing it with a broken heart', but she certainly doesn't have to endure back pain.

Gracie Abrams, the 'Close To You' singer and opener for Taylor's Eras Tour, recently spilled the beans on how her friend copes with muscle aches after performing three-hour concerts. In an interview with WhoWhatWear, Gracie revealed that Taylor swears by a $15 (£11.39) acupressure mat from Amazon.

Gracie said: "There's this amazing acupressure mat that I think is like $15 on Amazon. It's so painful, but it helps with back pain, and if you're touring you must have back pain. Taylor gave me that advice."

Acupressure, inspired by the ancient Chinese practice of acupuncture, is an alternative therapy that uses pressure to alleviate pain without the use of needles. Instead, a mat is used to stimulate acupuncture points, reports the Mirror .

While there might be some discomfort, the end result should be relief rather than pain.

Regrettably, Gracie didn't disclose the brand she prefers, but Amazon offers a plethora of well-reviewed options at various price points. If you're willing to splurge a bit more on your mat, there are higher-end options available, such as the popular ShaktiMat.

Regardless, the crucial thing is to pay attention to your body when trying something new. Just because it works for Taylor Swift doesn't mean it will work for you.

If you're worried about any discomfort, consult your GP first.

However, you might be a Swiftie who finds benefit from using one of the increasingly popular mats while jamming to the singer's hits. Remember to unwind.

According to Healthline, concentrating on your breathing and consciously relaxing your body is vital. They recommend using your mat for 10-20 minutes daily for optimal results.
