Golf fans appear unimpressed with Tiger Woods, after the 15-time major champion's clothing brand, Sun Day Red, announced the release of its latest line of apparel.

Woods formed Sun Day Red - a nod to his iconic red polo worn on Championship Sundays - after a historic 27-year branding relationship with Nike. Since parting ways with the Swoosh earlier this year, the 82-time PGA Tour winner has sported his Sun Day Red clothing out on the golf course.

What is more, the 48-year-old from California also made the golf clothing available to his fans too, with golfers able to purchase their own piece of Sun Day Red gear via the brand's website.

Earlier this week, Woods and co dropped their latest line named the 'Cashmere Collection', which includes items that the joint-most successful PGA Tour player of all time sported whilst competing at this year's PGA Championship. "When focus matters most, the Cashmere Collection delivers," Sun Day Red posted on X.

"Engineered for distraction-free play, our cashmere sweaters and vests are crafted for those who demand the best, on and off the course." Since the brand's first release following the Genesis Invitational in February, Woods and his team have raised eyebrows with the pricing of their pieces online.

And this time around was no different, with the Cashmere Collection coming in at an even heftier price amid the choice of material. The 3D Tour Cashmere Vest worn by Woods at Valhalla in May can be purchased for $300, whilst the sweatshirt comes in at $350.

Those wanting to cop the 3D Tour hoodie will have to fork out even more, which comes in at a whopping $375. A cheaper crew sweatshirt will set back golf fans $300, whilst the line's quarter zip costs $350. Unsurprisingly the price setting by the Sun Day Red team did not go down well with Woods' fans.

Taking to X to reply to the release, one golf fanatic wrote: "You guys are out of your minds. You need a complete rethink." This sentiment was echoed by another fan, who added: "$300-$350 for a vest or sweater WOW!!!" before a third added: "After I win the lottery. Sure."

Woods himself has only been able to showcase his new brand out on the golf course on just five occasions, with the five-time Masters champion continuing to play a part-time schedule on the PGA Tour. He will not feature again until the end of the year, confirming at this summer's Open Championship that he will return for the Hero World Challenge in December.

I'm not going to play until [the Hero World Challenge]," Woods claimed after missing the 36-hole cut at Royal Troon in July. "I'm going to just keep getting physically better and keep working on it."
