Recently, Brittany stirred up social media by 'liking' an Instagram post that praised former president Donald Trump's potential policies for the 2024 presidential election, which included tackling the "migrant invasion," the "migrant crime epidemic" and keeping men "OUT of women's sports". When fans noticed Brittany's like, they took to social media to criticize her apparent endorsement of Trump.
Brittany hit back at her critics with a post asserting her right to her beliefs, saying, "I mean honestly..." followed by sharing a message that read: "To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There's no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well."
"Patrick is still the darling of the NFL, and as long as he continues to win, no matter what his family does - from Brittany, to his brother, and his dad - Patrick will be fine," an insider revealed to the Daily Mail.
"Brittany is still in good standing with Patrick, her friends, and the other players' wives. Nobody is going to cross Brittany as she provides so much access and nobody wants to ruffle any feathers with Patrick. ... Nobody will ever bring it up during a hangout or at a game. It will not be a thing that is addressed."
The source also suggested that the Chiefs' success shields the family from scrutiny. "If the Chiefs start struggling anytime this year, or have a stretch where they start losing, people will almost certainly look to outside drama as the potential reason," they added.
"They will jump on that immediately, but as of right now the focus is on the start of the season and trying to get to that three peat. All the other noise is not an issue as of yet."
Despite having different political views, Brittany and Taylor Swift are reportedly avoiding political discussions to maintain their friendship, another source confided to the Daily Mail.
"Taylor is not going to be written into this anti-Brittany narrative because they have made a pact to not discuss politics. They both know it can tear apart friendships and they respect that they have different views," the source claimed.
While Swift typically keeps her political opinions private, the 34-year-old pop icon didn't hold back her disdain for Trump, as evidenced by her May 2020 tweet.
"After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? 'When the looting starts the shooting starts'? ? ? We will vote you out in November. @realdonaldtrump," Swift expressed on Twitter.
