Death investigation underway after body found in Montgomery

Montgomery police say an unidentified person was found dead Friday, Aug. 9, on East South Boulevard in Montgomery, and the death is now under investigation.

The body was discovered at 3:36 p.m. by MPD and Fire Medics responding to the 1300 block of E. South Boulevard. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Details of the death have not been released.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the investigation to call CrimeStoppers at 334-215-STOP, the Secret Witness Line at 334-625-4000 or MPD at 334-625-2831.
