Surry Community College offering Notary Public class

Surry Community College is offering a Notary Public class later this month.

The first course section on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 5 to 9 p.m. at The Yadkin Center, at 9001 College Drive in Yadkinville

Notary Public courses are designed to provide instruction to individuals who want to become commissioned as a Notary Public. Topics include legal, ethical, and procedural requirements of the Notary Act. Upon completion of this course with a passing exam grade of 80%, a person is eligible to submit an application with the N.C. Secretary of State Office.
