A Mount Airy senior was recently honored with the 2024 Charlotte Weatherly Yokley Memorial Award. Ella Brant, daughter of Jayne and Tim Brant, received the award during the May 3 Mount Airy High School Honors Program. Ella is a member of the National Honor Society, varsity tennis team, and held several elected offices during her high school career. She plans to attend UNC-Chapel Hill in the fall.
