NATCHEZ — This photograph records the deteriorated remains of Shaw’s Foundry, which relocated from Franklin Street to the intersection of North Broadway and Madison streets in 1901. The new 1960s location of F.R. Blankenstein and Co. is visible on the far right. In 1907, C.P. Shaw, owner and operator of the foundry, built a grand new house nearby at 207 Linton Avenue, which was later home to the family of Mayor John Nosser. Photo Credit: William E.
