Teen walks away from crash on Upper Kingston Road early Tuesday

NATCHEZ — A 17-year-old Natchez teen walked away from a single-vehicle crash on Upper Kingston Road near Ogden Road at about 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said the driver of the 2019 Ford F250 was not on the scene when deputies arrived. After a search for him, deputies found him at a residence on Ogden Road. Patten said the young man was possibly suffering from a concussion. He said he did not recall having an accident. His father took him to Merit Health Natchez.

“This is another young driver who is very blessed to be alive,” Patten said. “People have to respect these roadways no matter how long they have been driving on them. If you don’t respect the roadways, they will kill you.”
