CHAMPAIGN

• 1500 block of Kiler Drive: Police responded to a report of an armed subject who they then located and arrested around 2:20 a.m. on Aug. 11.
• 30 block of Main Street: Officers located and arrested a man after he burglarized a local business around 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 11.
• Bloomington Road and Bradley Avenue: Officers arrested two people at 7:54 p.m. on Aug. 11 after a traffic stop showed they unlawfully possessed weapons.
• 1000 block of Laura Drive: Police responded to a report of a shooting at 8:19 p.m. on Aug. 10.
• 400 block of Edgebrook Drive: Officers responded to a report of a fight and possible shooting at an apartment complex parking lot at 1:14 a.m. on Aug. 9. One man was removed from a vehicle and detained due to the presence of open alcohol.
• 2100 block of West White Street: Police arrested a man for stealing copper pipes from an apartment complex around 12:20 a.m. on Aug. 8.
• 200 West Green Street: Police arrested a man for trespassing after he repeatedly refused to leave the Champaign Public Library at 7:53 p.m. on Aug. 8.
• 1000 block of Maple Street: A vehicle crashed after fleeing from a traffic stop around 12:15 a.m. on Aug. 8. Three occupants then fled, and the vehicle was found to be stolen, but no arrests were immediately made.
• 1100 block of West Beardsley Avenue: Officers located an abandoned stolen vehicle around 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 7.
• 700 block of West Church Street: A woman’s vehicle was reportedly stolen at 2:55 a.m. on Aug. 7.
• 400 block of East Bradley Avenue: A man’s residence was reportedly burglarized around 3 p.m. on Aug. 6.
• 2400 block of North Neil Street: A juvenile was injured after a family member reportedly threw boiling water on them around noon on Aug. 4, but no arrest was immediately made.

URBANA

• 1400 block of Ivanhoe Way: An unknown woman reportedly struck another woman in the face with a blunt object around 7:15 p.m. on Aug. 10, causing significant injury and disfigurement. An unknown man also attacked multiple men during the same altercation, and both offenders fled before police arrived.
• Busey and Fairview avenues: A seven-months-pregnant woman was admitted to a local hospital for injuries after an acquaintance reportedly battered her at 2:25 p.m. on Aug. 11.
• 200 block of East Pennsylvania Avenue: An unknown person reportedly entered a woman’s residence around 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 9 and stole property.
• 1300 block of Ivanhoe Way: An unknown person or persons fired multiple rounds at 10:55 p.m. on Aug. 9, striking two residences and vehicles but causing no injuries.
• 1300 block of Silver Street: An unknown person reportedly forced their way into the office of a local business around 1 p.m. on Aug. 7 and stole $400 worth of property.
• 1000 block of West University Avenue: A reported verbal altercation at 10:49 p.m. on Aug. 6 resulted in one person picking up a brick and the other displaying their concealed firearm. It was not immediately clear who was the main aggressor.
• 800 block of West University Avenue: Officers were called to remove a man from a local restaurant around 10:45 p.m. on Aug. 10 and arrested him after it was found he had two active Champaign County warrants.
• 1600 block of Colorado Avenue: Police conducted a traffic stop after a vehicle committed multiple violations. They then arrested the driver at 11:23 p.m. on Aug. 5 as he possessed a weapon he wasn’t allowed to have due to a prior conviction.
• 2000 block of Vawter Street: Police arrested a man around 7 p.m. on Aug. 6 after he was located in an apartment without the lease holder’s permission and had five active Champaign County warrants.
• 1000 block of Amber Lane: An unknown person reportedly stole, altered and then cashed a victim’s checks under a different name around 12:20 a.m. on Aug. 5.

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS

• 50 block of East Green Street: Officers located and arrested suspects after a report of an armed robbery at 6:23 a.m. on Aug. 10.
• 900 block of South Neil Street: An officer assisted the Champaign Police Department in locating a burglary suspect around 4:50 p.m. on Aug. 8.
• 600 block of East Green Street: A business reported they were receiving continuous harassing phone calls at 4:07 p.m. on Aug. 6 that left an employee concerned the caller was bringing explosives to the store. The area was swept by a bomb detection K9 and cleared.
• 40 block of East John Street: An officer responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at 7:48 a.m. on Aug. 6.
• 500 block of South Second Street: A vehicle’s window was reported broken while in a parking garage at 11:32 a.m. on Aug. 6.
• 500 block of South Neil Street: Police responded to a call of a worker of a local business having a knife at 10:34 on Aug. 5 after an argument broke out between the store clerk and customers.
