    Labor Day parade brings out the crowd and the marchers in downtown Fremont

    Hundreds of people lined the route on a beautiful, cool, crisp Monday morning for the IBEW Local 8-sponsored Fremont Labor Day Parade. It began at Rodger Young Park at 10 am., making its way through downtown on Front Street and ending at Croghan Street.

    Several unions and their members marched in the parade, along with bands and cheerleaders from SJCC and Fremont Ross high schools. Also participating were members of the Fremont police and fire departments, the Zenobia Shrine Jeepsters and Shriners, the Lower Sandusky Girl Scout, and The Heights Baton Corp.
