TUPELO — It's been three years since the inception of what Matt Robinson calls the “premier skateboard and art festival in the Deep South,” and the creator of Tupelo's annual Change Fest says people still aren't certain what the event is about.

“I remember a few days away from the first (Change Fest) three years ago, nobody, including the volunteers, knew what it was,” Robinson said. “Even the city, who had patiently listened to me explain it for the better part of the year, still weren’t sure what it was going to look like ... Going into year three, people know what to expect locally and are looking forward to it.”
