Family files wrongful death lawsuit in fatal parkway wreck

OXFORD – A family of a Tupelo man killed on the Natchez Trace when he was hit by an allegedly drunk driver has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against a Tennessee man and his father.

Alan Lee Langford, 42, was killed and his young son severely injured when they were struck nearly head-on by a Hummer driven by Connor Milhorn, 20, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, before dawn on May 11 on the federal parkway near Marietta. Since Milhorn was not 21 at the time, the family has also named his father, James David Milhorn, as a defendant.
