APPLETON - Customers can now try the biggest breakfast skillets in the Valley at Apple Valley Pancake House's second location in Appleton.

The first Apple Valley Pancake House opened on East Wisconsin Avenue in 2017, but moved after its lease was up to 1022 Main St. in Neenah in August 2023.

Owner, Ali Useini, said he's been in the food industry for over 20 years, including working with his family at their restaurants. Useini's brother owns, Galvan's Restaurant and Pancake House, 2220 E. Northland Ave., and his sister owns Maple Tree Restaurant and Pancake House, 2106 S. Oneida St., both in Appleton.

"We started off with washing dishes for my dad in 1990 and just expanded," Useini said.

The new breakfast and brunch restaurant opened on April 9 in the former Home Run Pizza location at 1216 W. Wisconsin Ave. Useini, who also owns and operates the Neenah location, said the two locations are exactly alike.

At Apple Valley Pancake House customers can enjoy breakfast items like the Apple Valley omele, which is made with four eggs, bacon, sausage, cheddar cheese and topped with sausage gravy, as well as different flavored pancakes, French toast, crepes and Belgian waffles.

Useini said he highly recommends customers try the breakfast skillets, with 13 different flavors and a build-your-own-skillet option.

"We have the biggest skillets in the Valley, that's what I specialize in," Useini said.

Aside from breakfast options, the restaurant also serves lunch items including authentic gyros.

"We have a gyro machine where the meat is cooked and cut right in house and served with homemade tzatziki sauce," Useini said.

Customers can choose from char-grilled burgers, salads and sandwiches.

Eventually, Useini said he plans to open a third location in Appleton, but for now he hopes customers can enjoy the newest location.

"This location is probably going to be one of nicest breakfast places in Appleton," Useini said. "We have an outdoor patio; we have beer and wine and I think it's a nice addition to the city for people who enjoy American food."

A full menu can be found on the restaurant's website applevalleypancakehouse.com.
