In the lead up to Oregon football's long-awaited 2024 season debut against Idaho Saturday , many fans are discovering that those not attending the game at Autzen Stadium in Eugene won't be able to watch.

On Monday night, Washington soccer fans hoping to watch the Huskies against Oregon State on the Big Ten Network were blacked out on Comcast/Xfinity channels and met with a message that referred viewers to allhuskiesgames.com, a Comcast phone number, a Washington QR code and the Big Ten Network logo.

When visiting the website allbtngames.com, it clarifies that: "Comcast Xfinity is the only pay TV provider that declined to accept the Big Ten Network territory expansion offer. Therefore Comcast Xfinity viewers in many areas will not have access to live broadcasts of the highly anticipated inaugural B1G season games for Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington on Big Ten Network."

When inputting the various zip codes for Eugene on that website, they all result in a message saying Oregon, Washington, USC, and UCLA sporting events won't be accessible on Big Ten Network with Comcast/Xfinity. The same information applies to some Salem and Portland area zip codes.

So far, fans and customers have only reported blackouts for Big Ten Network and not with other channels with Comcast/Xfinity. Oregon football's season debut is set to air on BTN on Saturday against Idaho.
