    Jackson Township trustees

    Tuesday meeting

ACTION: Held a public hearing for a previously approved planned urban development plan.

DISCUSSION : Trustees held a public hearing to see proposed changes to a previously approved building plan by Partner Land Co. LLC/David Hayes agent for IRAR Trust FBO Steven Williamson, property owner. The agent proposed revisions to the plan to reduce the total number of dwelling units from nine 4-unit buildings and one 2-unit building for a total of 38 units to four 4-unit buildings and six 3-unit buildings for a total of 34 units. The property includes 9.52 acres and is located on the southeast corner of Dressler Road NW and Montgomery Street NW.

The developer will also be adding basements to all units, making improvements to the stormwater ponds and raising the site to bring the road going in and out of the development to a higher level.

The trustees approved the design changes requested.

    OTHER ACTIONS :

    • Approved a negotiated agreement with the Fraternal Order of Police, Ohio Labor Council Inc. (FOP/OLCI) for sergeants. The agreement includes a 3% raise each year of the three years of the contract. Members will pay 17% of their health care, which is up from previous years.

UP NEXT: Meets 5 p.m. Aug. 27 at the township hall
