91 DNR parcels up for auction, including waterfront properties

Saginaw Township Police looking for strong-arm robber of local gas station
SAGINAW TWP, MI — Saginaw Township Police are hoping the public can help them identify a man who recently perpetrated a strong-arm robbery of a gas station. About 12:40 a.m. on July 2, a man walked into the Admiral station at 5605 State St. He had cash in his hand and asked the clerk for a Black & Mild cigar. EAST LANSING, MI – Insecticide use is the largest factor contributing to a decline in butterfly abundance and species diversity across the Midwest. A scientific study completed at Michigan State University concluded that shifts in insecticide use toward neonicotinoid-treated seeds are associated with an 8% decline in butterfly species diversity across the U.S. Midwest.
