Man facing murder charge has hearing

A 21-year-old Sanford man charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Chandler Tyree Cotten, 19, has an administrative hearing set for Sept. 23.

Jamen Malik Percell, who was 18 at the time, was arrested on Sept. 25, 2021 at a candlelight vigil for Cotten outside his residence at 100 Scarlett Oak Lane.
