PSP: Pattersonville man aimed loaded handgun at relatives

PATTERSONVILLE – A Pattersonville man is facing felony aggravated assault charges after state troopers say he pointed loaded handgun at his relatives and allegedly pulled the trigger.

John Milosh, 50, of 91 Leach Road, was charged over the weekend by State Police at Frackville.

According to the criminal complaint filed by Trooper Joshua Yates, police were called to the Milosh’s Union Township home around 11pm Saturday for a report of shots fired.

Police said they were called after the complainant said his father, John Milosh, had fired a gun at other occupants in the home.

Milosh was restrained and disarmed by the caller’s brother.

Police said they recovered handgun magazine containing seven rounds from Milosh when he was taken inton custody.

One occupant in the home told police that he was upstairs in his room, heard yelling, and saw John wield a handgun, cocking it and pointing it at both him and his sister, according to the complaint.

Milosh pulled the trigger and the firearm misfired, the complainant told troopers.

Another occupant told troopers that John told them he “needed to teach them a lesson” before he retrieved the firearm.

Milosh was arraigned Sunday on felony aggravated assault and related charges and committed to Schuylkill County Prison on $100,000 bail.

He was released Monday via a bail bondsman.

A preliminary hearing is set for next Wednesday in Frackville.
