Virginia- A Northern Virginia man who said he was fired from his job at a local fast food store after management learned he is homeless has been admitted to an undisclosed hospital being treated for serious health conditions. The man said his manager overheard a customer commending him for his efforts and maintaining his appearance and hygiene in spite of being homeless. Jamel, the employee fired said he had recently been given a raise and had been given full-time status after a performance review. The manager of the restaurant who identified herself as Cecilia Vega said she have concerns customers will be offended by having a homeless man cleaning where they buy and eat food. She went on to say she would rehire the man once he is stable. She said there had not been issues with his appearance or hygiene, however she questioned his ability be healthy living outside. Justine Coley, a volunteer who provide services to the homeless said his age and health conditions makes living outside a nightmare for this man as he struggle to provide for himself daily and carr for his health.
