Australia helicopter crash: Pilot dies after 'unauthorised' chopper flight crashes on Cairns hotel roof

Footage shows the aftermath of a helicopter crash that killed the pilot on top of a hotel in Cairns, Australia, in the early hours of Monday morning.Amanda Kay, who was in a hotel room opposite, recorded the scene showing flames rising into the night sky above the luxury DoubleTree by Hilton.Guests were evacuated onto the Cairns Esplanade, a waterfront boardwalk popular with tourists in the city in the north of Queensland.Police are investigating the crash with the chopper owned by charter company Nautilus Aviation. The firm said it believed there was 'unauthorized use' of one of the company's aircraft.
