DANBURY — North Stokes’ John Pratt is a three-sport athlete who plays football, basketball and baseball, but he’s looking forward to the start of school and basketball season.

He enjoys working out, fishing and playing sports. He loves his family and understands that success is earned and not given.

John’s dedication to the sports he plays is because of the love he has for each sport, plus he likes to stay active.

Pratt helped the basketball team to a second place finish in the Northwest 1A Conference, place runner-up in the conference tournament championship, and make it to the second round of the state playoffs.

John started 20 games in baseball, helping the team to a 10-15 record and a state playoff appearance. He had a .308 on base percentage, scored 11 runs and had six RBIs on the season.

In football, Pratt had an injury plague year but is looking forward to bouncing back and helping the Vikings on the gridiron this fall.

Pratt hopes to attend a four-year university and play sports after graduation.
