Two teenage suspects have been arrested over a shooting that injured two teens last week, the Warner Robins Police Department announced Monday.

The 15 and 18-year-old victims were each shot in the leg just after 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of Northlake Drive, according to a news release from police.

Investigation revealed shots were fired from inside a vehicle. A green Honda CR-V drove up to the victims, who were standing in front of an apartment complex, and “had a brief interaction with them, then fired several shots from within the vehicle,” officers said.

The shooting “stemmed from an argument between both the victims and the subjects that were in the vehicle,” police said in a press release Monday.

Officers treated the victims’ injuries until an ambulance arrived and took them to a local hospital, where they were in stable condition, police said.

The suspects, a 13-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy, were placed into custody, police said Monday. Officers didn’t release further information about the suspects or their charges.

The police department was still investigating the shooting Monday.

Officers urged anyone with information related to the shooting to call detectives at 478-302-5380, or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 478-742-2330.
