In honor of Kansas playing the majority of its home games at Arrowhead Stadium , home of the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, the team has unveiled an all-new, all-red uniform for the upcoming season.

In the weeks and months ahead this year, the Jayhawks will play their home games away from Lawrence as renovations progress with their home stadium.

The relocations have been arranged in partnership with Children’s Mercy Park, home to Kansas City’s professional soccer team Sporting KC, and the iconic Arrowhead Stadium. While a few outings will take place at Mercy Park, the bulk of the home games are set to unfold under the bright lights of Arrowhead Stadium.

Arrowhead Stadium will host the Kansas Jayhawks for four Big 12 matchups, featuring TCU on September 28, Houston on October 19, Iowa State on November 9, and Colorado on November 23. These games will follow the Jayhawks’ two non-conference home encounters against Lindenwood on August 29 and UNLV on September 13, both of which will take place at Children’s Mercy Park.

The Jayhawks are building on the momentum of consecutive bowl appearances for the first time in over a decade, along with celebrating a bowl victory—a milestone not reached in more than ten years
