LAWRENCE — It’s the first game week for Kansas football, and that means the start of the most highly anticipated season for the program in more than a decade.

Due to ongoing renovations at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium, the Jayhawks will be playing their home games away from Lawrence. However, that doesn’t mean local fans will have to miss out on seeing the team in action live. The two non-conference home games will be at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas, while the four Big 12 Conference home games will be at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kansas will face off against Lindenwood at 7 p.m. (CT) on Aug. 29. This is one of two non-conference games the Jayhawks will play at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas. Both are Division I programs, but Kansas is a FBS school and Lindenwood is in the FCS.

There are still tickets available for this matchup on StubHub. Single-ticket options start for as low as $47, as of the morning of Aug. 26, for seats in various parts of the stadium. Ticket options expand from there, when it comes to the amount of tickets available for a single purchase, too.
