Alabama women's basketball's 2024-25 SEC schedule dates revealed

The Alabama women's basketball team's 2024-25 conference schedule was released on Wednesday.

The Crimson Tide will kick off the new era of SEC play by hosting Florida on Jan. 2 in Coleman Coliseum. It will welcome reigning national champion South Carolina on Jan. 16. The Crimson Tide has one home-and-home series in conference, playing Florida on Jan. 2 and Feb. 6. It means the Tide will only face its biggest rivals, Auburn and Tennessee, each once, after playing them multiple times each season over the past few years.

The Crimson Tide start the season with a tough nonconference slate that will see it face Michigan State and Cal. The season kicks off on Nov. 4 matchup with New Orleans at Coleman Coliseum. Television designations and time slots for each conference game will be announced at a later date.

The Crimson Tide are coming off one of the best seasons in the history of the program, placing fourth in the SEC. They went 24-10 and made the second round of the NCAA Tournament before falling to new conference foe Texas.
