Rodgers reported to Jets training late and was fined $50,000 after jetting off to Egypt for a late-offseason trip, per ESPN .

During practice sessions on Saturday and Tuesday, the four-time MVP was filmed remonstrating with wideout Wilson on the sidelines.

The pair appeared to be arguing following a miscommunication on the field.

Rodgers broke silence on the clips Wednesday, insisting his relationship with his No. 1 receiver is fine.

“He’s got to get on my page, but I have to get on his page, too,” Rodgers told the assembled media after Jets practice.

“Because he’s got a whole book that I need to understand fully.

“A skill set and ability and feel and rhythm and all the different things that he does out there.

“So those are good conversations. They might appear to be much more heated than they are, but there’s usually a smile on our face afterward – at least one of us.”

Rodgers is preparing for his second year with the Jets after a disastrous 2023.

The 40-year-old tore his Achilles on the first drive of last season against the Buffalo Bills.

He will likely lean heavily on Wilson, 24, in the upcoming campaign.

“The best ones have always [argued back], and I enjoy those [discussions],” Rodgers added.

“I love a good back-and-forth as long as, at the end of it, we can either agree to disagree and revisit it later and come to some sort of middle ground.”

Wilson started all 17 of the Jets games last season.

Despite operating in a calamitous offense plagued by bad quarterback play , he still recorded a second-straight 1,000-yard receiving season.

The No. 10 overall pick in 2022 is excited for Rodgers to start consistently under center.

And he also downplayed the scenes viewed by thousands of NFL fans in the viral clip.

“It’s truly enlightening for me every time we have problems like that, despite how it may look, just because I am an emotional, passionate guy,” Wilson said.

“So, when we lose, I might look a certain way, but in reality, all those conversations, those things are helping me be better for Aaron because he can make your life real easy.

“So, for me, it’s my job to be on my details and he’s been on me about those details.”

Rodgers is likely to miss pre-season as the Jets urge caution with the 40-year-old.

New York begins their 2024 campaign against the San Francisco 49ers on September 9.
