AN ILLINOIS man has been charged with a felony after allegedly threatening to shoot two Kansas City Chiefs players.
Aaron Brown, 23, of Winchester, Illinois , was accused of making a “terroristic threat” prior to Friday’s Morgan Wallen concert at Arrowhead Stadium, according to authorities.
Kelce and Mahomes were not officially identified by authorities in the court records.
Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones was also in attendance at the concert, per the Kansas City Star.
The threat on X, which was redacted in charging documents, read: “Mr. [redacted] at Arrowhead with the wife. If he brings out [redacted] or [redacted] I’ll take the f***in’ shot. F**k em!”
Brown “confirmed to police where he was located at Arrowhead,” per the Jackson County press release.
Cops called his cell phone after reading the alleged online threat.
He then voluntarily told police he was at the stadium and informed them which section he was sitting in, per the New York Post .
“It was a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake,” he later told cops, per the police report cited by the Daily Mail .
Brown was charged on Saturday with a Class E felony of Making a Terrorist Threat in the 2nd Degree.
