Patrick Mahomes reveals he suffered wardrobe malfunction as Kansas City Chiefs QB’s admission is caught on hot mic

PATRICK Mahomes made a crucial mistake during the Kansas City Chiefs practice on Wednesday and he was caught revealing it on a hot mic.

The Chiefs’ official Instagram account posted a video with the caption, “The story of @patrickmahomes and his forgotten pants,” adding a laughing emoji.

“Oh dude, I didn’t put my pants on,” Mahomes said to start the clip .

“You think anyone notices?” he questioned.

“Um… I forgot my pants pads.”

Mahomes then walked up to his coaches to inform them of his mistake.

“Hey, I uh forgot my pads in my pants,” he told Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy.

Mahomes then began to joke about the mistake to players and coaches.

“Maybe he’ll [Andy Reid] think my quads are so big that they look like pants,” Mahomes joked.

“I doubt it,” Nagy responded.

Mahomes then expressed his frustration claiming he looked like an idiot.

The clip ends with Mahomes revealing he is going to go put his pants on as he says goodbye to Chiefs offensive lineman Creed Humphrey.

Fans got in on the fun and shared their thoughts on Mahomes’ wardrobe malfunction.

“Does Brittany need to pack pants for Patrick?” joked one fan.

“That’ll be a uniform violation, I need two laps,” said a second fan.

When Mahomes is not forgetting his pants he is doing some special things at the Chiefs practice .

During a recent practice, the three-time Super Bowl MVP completed a behind-the-back touchdown pass to the amazement of fans.

The Chiefs had their last day of training camp practice before the preseason on Wednesday.

So Mahomes decided to show off a new trick play before the day ended.

And Mahomes took a shotgun pass, ran to his right, and hit running back Isiah Pacheco with a behind-the-back pass to score a touchdown.

The Chiefs look like they are primed for another push for a third straight championship.

Kansas City will travel to Jacksonville to play the Jaguars on Saturday to kick off their preseason.

The team will also open the NFL season at home on September 5 against the Baltimore Ravens .
