LISTENERS of influencer Alix Earle’s newest podcast with her sister’s rumored boyfriend, DJ John Summit, slammed the star for her bland questions and awkwardness.

Earle started the video by discussing her summer travels and boyfriend, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios .

The video then transitions from her traditional filming location on a red couch in her Miami bedroom to a villa in Mykonos, Greece , where she is vacationing with friends, including Summit.

They started their chat by discussing how they met in “the back of a car” almost a year ago.

The conversation takes multiple turns as it discusses Summit’s music career and personal life.

However, though the pair have been friendly for a while now, their banter remains awkward and forced.

There were some awkward filler laughs, and while Summit spoke about music-making, Earle asked if it was similar to producing on Garage Band.

Listeners hoped the DJ would divulge some juicy details about his rumored relationship with Earle’s sister Ashtin , 21, but the gossip fell short.

Instead, Earle asked the musician if he knew what girl products were, such as a diva cup, a viral TikTok trend.

The pair also discussed a viral video ESPN posted on TikTok of the two that went viral last August.

In the awkward clip, the two stood side by side at an Inter-Miami game, not speaking and looking around.

Earle recalled the moment saying they “talked through their teeth at each other” as they stood, not wanting to take any of the seats in the front row.

She said it “looked like I was ignoring you” to Summit who said the influencer had the “biggest RBF of all time” in the video.

    ‘DISAPPOINTED’

The awkward chat didn’t go unnoticed by listeners who said they were “disappointed” in the episode.

“Alix seems kinda weird which is odd because John is her close friend,” a Reddit user wrote .

They probably aren’t close friends as in they talk a lot about deep things, they are party friends who have a vapid relationship.

“I wanted some hot takes and good banter but didn’t get any of that. They were awkward.”

Users in the comments couldn’t help but agree.

“It looked like Alix was blushing and trying really hard to not flirt,” a commenter observed.

“Poor Ashtin. Using her boyfriend as a podcast pawn [to gain] popularity amongst a different crowd.

Another speculated, “They probably aren’t close friends as in they talk a lot about deep things, they are party friends who have a vapid relationship.”

A fourth said, “It was so boring.”

One commenter said they “barely made it past the 10-minute intro story.”

“She asked such stupid questions…it fell very flat and awkward,” they wrote in part.

They also noted that “there was zero tea of any kind” and it wasn’t worth watching if you wanted to learn about his rumored relationship with Ashtin.

“It’s like she’s never interacted with a man before and it felt very middle-school-esque…like ‘Teehee let me ask this guy silly questions and laugh when he doesn’t know what it is’…soooo funny,” they shared.

“I stopped after that. Zero depth. Zero insight. Major miss here, but not surprised.”

    DAMNING OLD POSTS

In a recent TikTok video , a creator flagged old racist social media posts that were posed to Reddit a year ago.

The posts were allegedly from her Ask.fm, a question-answer social media platform, account from 10 years ago.

In the posts, Earle appeared to say the n-word multiple times in response to questions.

The TikToker also noted that the star has not had a scandal since her career took off in 2022, so the posts are “disappointing.”
