Jelly Roll born Jason Bradley DeFord is an American rapper and country singer -songwriter.

He started out his career in hip-hop and transitioned to country music in 2021.

His lyrics and music are a blend of old-school rap, country, and classic rock.

In June of 2023, Jelly Roll released his debut country album called Whitsitt Chapel.

The 13-track project was a great success.

It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Album Charts and Top 3 on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart with 90,000 album equivalents.

This marks the 11th season that ESPN has partnered with an artist to create an anthem for ESPN’s college football coverage.

    College football's 2024 shake-up

Oklahoma and Texas switching from the Big 12 to the SEC is one of the biggest changes to college football in recent times.

And that has set off a chain reaction which has left the Pac-12 conference decimated.

The Pac-12 has lost 10 of its 12 members and is down to just Oregon State and Washington State.

Four of those teams are headed for the Big 12 – Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah.

Another four are going to the Big 10 – Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington.

And the other two teams, California and Stanford, will join the ACC conference.

No teams have left the SEC, Big Ten or ACC.

The network has previously partnered with Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, Yungblud, Lauren Alaina, and Thirty Seconds to Mars for the college football anthem.

ESPN’s 2023 anthem for the college football season was revealed as Something Real by Post Malone.

Fans also rushed to the video to praise ESPN’s choice for the anthem.

“The song of college football for years to come,” raved one fan.

“Them choosing this song was PERFECT,” commented a second.

“Amazing song choice! Just perfect!” a third wrote.

Meanwhile, the college football season is set to begin on August 24 with multiple teams in action throughout the day.

The Georgia Bulldogs will reportedly begin the season as the number-one-ranked team in the country.
