Kay Adams laughs at Caleb Williams’ ‘take that as you want coach’ remark during Bears training camp interview

KAY Adams revealed her amusement at Caleb Williams’ comments about his Chicago Bears head coach during an interview.

The NFL rookie quarterback, 22, appeared on the Up & Adams Show on Friday.

The FanDuel TV host Adams appeared at the Bears’ training camp and interviewed numerous players on her program.

Among the stars was the 2024 No. 1 overall pick Williams .

The pair spoke about the Bears starring in the first episode of HBO ‘s Hard Knocks series.

Adams then mentioned the fact that Chicago’s defensive-minded head coach Matt Eberflus was seen in a quarterback’s meeting during the program.

She asked Williams how his presence in the offensive meetings helps him as a player.

The NFL rookie revealed that he and the offense ask Eberflus numerous questions about what the team’s defense runs in the practice and how to play against it.

Williams then revealed that Eberfulu’s defense throws plenty of blitzes at him, and even admitted it “frustrated” him during one play.

And Williams shared an admission that the second-year coach runs the show in practice.

“Having a defensive-minded head coach is great because he kinda controls practice,” he said to Adams.

“ Take that how you want coach but you control practice.”

The last sentence caused Adams to laugh hysterically.

During the interview, Williams addressed the criticism he has received on social media , mainly due to his flamboyance.

“I couldn’t give two… you probably know the next word,” Williams said to Adams.

“I see it and it doesn’t faze me because I know who I am.”

Williams got mocked on social media for walking out of a coach’s office with a purse during the HBO show.

“Is that man serious,” one fan wrote on X about the sequence.

He will make his preseason debut against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.

Up & Adams airs each weekday from 11 am Eastern to noon.
