    Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to get new Villains Land as part of park expansion – fans have been warned to ‘be prepared’

    DISNEY World’s Magic Kingdom is working on installing a new Villains Land as part of its expansion.

    The theme park warned its fans to “be prepared” for the villainous experience to come.

    During the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro revealed the new plans.

    While the details are still slim, Villains Land will include two major attractions inspired by classic Disney films .

    One attraction is said to have the younger audience in mind, according to USA Today .

    It will also include shopping and Disney villain-inspired dining.

    “This land will be home to the villains that you know, and those that you loathe,” D’Amaro revealed.

    “Be prepared, you poor unfortunate souls.

    “It’s going to be a fearless new vision for what a Disney experience can be.”

    The confirmed news comes after D23 has teased ideas of the Villains Land.

    At this time, a set launch day hasn’t been confirmed.

    However, D’Amaro revealed construction will begin in 2025.

    After the news broke, fans rushed to social media to share their excitement.

    “YES!!!!! LET THE VILLAINS REGIN BEGIN!!!!” wrote one X user.

    “This is going to be so cool! I love the villain presence at Oogie Boogie Bash and have been craving this at WDW! So excited for this,” said another.

    “Let’s freaking go,” exclaimed a third.

    Alongside Villains Land, Disney Experiences revealed they would also introduce other fan-favorite attractions.

    Disney World theme parks are located in Orlando, Florida. They include Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

    • 1-day theme park ticket: $109 + tax
    • 3-day, 3-park ticket: $267 + tax
    • 3-day, 3-park ticket (Florida residents): $219 + tax
    • 4-day, 4-park ticket: $396 + tax
    • 4-day, 4-park ticket: $235 + tax(Florida residents)
    • Annual pass: Starting from $999 + tax
    • Annual pass (Florida resident): Starting from $439 + tax

    Disney World is also set to receive a new Pirates-themed tavern that is scheduled to open in 2025.

    Additionally, D’Amaro revealed Hollywood Studios would be getting a Monster’s Inc. Land.

    “Monsters remains one of the most beloved stories that Pixar has ever told,” D’Amaro said.

    “Our fans absolutely love it, and we knew we had an opportunity to bring to life this franchise in a way that it’s never been brought to life before and extend the story from the screen into real life.

    “There are Monsters, Inc. attractions at other Disney parks, but not whole lands. Construction on this will begin next year.”

    Last month, it was revealed that Universal Studios would be getting a monster-themed land called Epic Universe .

    Disneyland is getting Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which is scheduled to open on November 15.

    Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure will be getting two new attractions called Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab.

    The park will also be receiving its first-ever Coco ride.
