EA Sports FC fans go wild for 13 new Heroes – here’s who’s on the roster

FOOTBALL fans love a bit of EA Sports FC, the football sim series from EA previously known as FIFA, and the most exciting thing for most fans is Ultimate Team.

There’s something special about opening up a pack of Ultimate Team cards in EA Sports FC and seeing what rare player cards you’ve gotten your hands on.

Ultimate Team will, of course, be returning in EA Sports FC 25, and the upcoming game will see the return of FC Heroes, a special type of Ultimate Team card that features fancy superhero outfits and special bonuses.

Hero cards also upgrade after a while, so they remain relevant in the meta for a long time to come, making them valuable for any team.

13 new Heroes will be added in this year’s game, including well-known players like Eden Hazard, Fara Williams, and Tim Howard.

EA Sports has revealed the full list of new Heroes coming to EA Sports FC 25, which you can see here:

• Jamie Carragher
• Laura Georges
• Maicon
• Marek Hamšík
• Mohammed Noor
• Tim Howard
• Zé Roberto

Speaking on his inclusion as an Ultimate Team Hero, Tim Howard said that he felt honoured to be included alongside many other heroes.

Howard said: “There’s a lot of heroes in this beautiful game that we love across the globe, and the fact that I’m one of the FC Heroes this year is special to me.”

EA Sports has also revealed that players who preorder the Ultimate Edition of EA Sports FC 25 before August 20, 2024 will receive a day-one Origin Hero card as soon as the game becomes available.

That Hero card will also be upgraded to a Prime Hero card on November 28, 2024, showcasing the players’ change from debutante to superhero.

Players who preorder the Ultimate Edition of EA Sports FC 25 will also receive an untradeable Hero or ICON card from the Greats of the Game campaign in FC 24 Ultimate Team, so they won’t have to wait for the new game to start enjoying their purchase.

EA Sports FC 25 will be released on September 27, 2024 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.

Ultimate Edition purchasers will get a week of early access, starting from September 20, 2024.
